I thought that was very good. Maybe I'll watch it again sometime this year. I think I might've seen INTOLERANCE sometime during my video store years, but I don't recall.Richhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11376065182154885503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5719905867000998397.post-50780434424910943582016-01-27T21:18:19.807-02:002016-01-27T21:18:19.807-02:00For me, Gish and Griffith wrote the book on symbio...For me, Gish and Griffith wrote the book on symbiotic collaborations. Perhaps Gish would've made it without Griffith, perhaps he'd have made different films without her - but together they shaped movie history. And for that... I'm thankful!

Beijos,
Rafa

http://imperioretro.blogspot.comImpério Retrôhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12918740624370398423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5719905867000998397.post-7697731330359960832016-01-26T02:27:59.217-02:002016-01-26T02:27:59.217-02:00I love Gish's post-Griffith work in the '2...I love Gish's post-Griffith work in the '20s, The White Sister, The Scarlet Letter, and most of all The Wind. But of her work with Griffith, Broken Blossoms is very close to my heart. Gish and Barthelmess are both shattering. I agree that she would probably be a big star anyway.

Loved your review, Le. Lots of great info.
